HOUSTON -

A Houston woman who refers to herself as 'Teddy Bear Paradise' was indicted by a federal grand jury for threatening to kill President Barack Obama.

Denise O'Neal wrote a 15 page letter to the president in late 2013 that arrived in Washington in December, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

"My name is Teddy Bear Paradise...I am coming to Washington, D.C. to murder you," the letter reads.

O'Neal, 57, was initially arrested at the Astro Inn Motel near Cavalcade and I-45 in Houston on Dec. 26, 2013. She was subsequently indicted and remains in federal custody without bond.

The case is being investigated by the Secret Service.

If convicted, O'Neal faces up to five years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
