HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man was pistol-whipped after an attempted robbery at a food store around 8 p.m. Tuesday in the 6400 block of Louetta Road.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office says a gun went off while one the robbers was assaulting the man.

The victim has been transported to an area hospital.
The robbers are on the run and are described only as two black men, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
