SUGAR LAND, Texas -

Sugar Land police are hoping a newly released sketch will help them identify the man wanted for robbing a woman outside of First Colony Mall.

The 21-year-old victim was leaving the mall from the Forever 21 entrance around 8:15 p.m. on March 15.

Police say she was looking down and texting on her phone when a man threw her to the ground, grabbed her phone, and then ran toward Methodist Hospital.

Officials say she tried to chase the man, and was flagged down a driver who helped with the search, but the man got away.

The woman suffered minor cuts and scratches.

Anyone with information about this incident should call the Sugar Land Police Department at 281-275-2540 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS (8477).
