Nov. 20, 2013: Rylander Elementary School students will be relocated the rest of the week, as a result of an electrical outage. Courtney Gilmore reports

KATY, Texas -

Students at Rylander Elementary in Katy will be back in class on Wednesday, but at a different school.

School leaders say the transformer that blew on Monday and caused classes to be cancelled Tuesday will take a few more days to repair.

Rylander students will attend classes at Obra D. Tompkins High School on Tuesday and Wednesday.

If your child takes the bus, he or she will be dropped off and picked up as usual. If your student bikes or walks to school, they can continue to do so, and they will be picked up and shuttled to OTHS.

If you're dropping off your student, use the front entrance of the 9th Grade Center.
