May 7, 2013: Park & Ride is now offering service from the Katy Corridor to Uptown Houston. Jennifer Reyna reports.

HOUSTON -

Park & Ride is now offering service from the Katy Corridor to Uptown Houston.

Along Post Oak Boulevard from 610 to Hidalgo, the 285 Kingsland Park & Ride service includes eight inbound and nine outbound stops. It costs $4.50 to ride the service, located off the Katy Freeway at 21669 Kingsland Boulevard.

It'll make things easier for commuters.

"It's congested. Lots of traffic lights, lots of traffic," one commuter told Local 2.

Scott Weissman plans to use the service.

"Texting, do some work on the way in," he said.
