He's a Texas icon who's been spreading cheer around Houston for more than three decades.

On Christmas Eve, Pancho Claus was back at it again, delivering gifts and smiles at Houston's Meca Center.

Decked out in a zoot suit, Richard Reyes has made it his mission the last 33 years to help Houston families.

"We're not a non-profit. We do this with the community. We don't use government funds -- city, state, local -- it's just the community, so it takes a lot of people," he said.

No child left unhappy, empty-handed, or underfed on Tuesday.

Pancho Claus and his valuable helpers aren't done yet.

They're going to ride through a few select neighborhoods on Christmas Day, giving out toys to kids at random.
