FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas -

The search is on for the man and woman who authorities believe robbed two pharmacies in the Katy area.

Fort Bend County authorities say deputies were called to the Walgreens in the 9800 block of South Mason Road for an armed robbery around 8:30 a.m. Monday.

Officials say a woman and man walked into the store with a gun. They stole cash and then drove off in a silver compact four-door with tinted windows and a noticeable crease over the right rear passenger fender.

Investigators believe the duo also robbed at CVS Pharmacy in the area earlier in the morning.

Officials say the woman was last seen wearing a camouflage-colored pullover hoodie and tan Timberline-style work boots. Surveillance photos show the man wearing a dark beanie cap and a pink or light red sweatshirt with darker stripes from the shoulders to the wrists.

Anyone with information about this pair should contact Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers, Inc. by calling 281-342-TIPS (8477), texting FBCCS plus your tip to CRIMES (274637), or clicking here.

Tipsters with information leading to the apprehension and filing of charges of the suspects involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000.
