HOUSTON -

Lowe's has teamed up with Habitat for Humanity.

The home improvement store in Meyerland is just one of 10 locations across the nation building a habitat home to celebrate Lowe's long-standing partnership with Habitat for Humanity.

The frame of the home is almost completed.

More than 70 volunteers worked on the frame Friday.

Nationwide, Lowe's is trying to recruit 100,000 new Habitat for Humanity volunteers this year in its "Hammers for Habitat" campaign.
