A foot chase ended with a Houston police officer using his Taser on a suspect early Friday morning.
According to Houston police, officers patrolling Ringold Street in north Houston spotted two men in an empty lot known for drug activity. They took off running and the officers chased after them and eventually caught up with them.
One of the men had a bag of crack cocaine, according to police.
While the officers spoke to them, the man with the drugs tried to run and got into a fight with an officer. He was forced to use his Taser on the suspect. Police arrested him, but let the other man go.
The suspect is facing charges for resisting arrest and possession of crack cocaine.
