Houston-area school closings for Wednesday

Jan. 29, 2014: The largest Houston-area school districts are returning to class on Wednesday. Courtney Zavala reports.

HOUSTON -

The majority of the school districts in our area were closed Tuesday due to the winter weather, but there are only a few that are closed or have delayed starts on Wednesday.

SCHOOL CLOSINGS/DELAYS:

Anahuac ISD: Closed Wednesday.
Barbers Hill ISD: 2-hour delay start Wednesday.
Cleveland ISD: Closed Wednesday.
Coldspring-Oakhurst CISD: Closed Wednesday.
Dayton ISD: Closed Wednesday.
Devers ISD: Closed Wednesday.
Dickinson ISD: 2-hour delay start Wednesday.
East Chambers ISD: 10:45 a.m. start Wednesday.
Goodrich ISD: 10 a.m. start Wednesday.
Hardin ISD: Closed Wednesday.
Hitchcock ISD: 2-hour delay start Wednesday.
Hull-Daisetta ISD: Closed Wednesday.
Liberty ISD: Closed Wednesday.
Livingston ISD: 2-hour delay start Wednesday.
Santa Fe ISD: 2-hour delay start Wednesday.
Shepherd ISD: 2-hour delay start Wednesday.
Tarkington ISD: Closed Wednesday.
Texas City ISD: 2-hour delay start Wednesday.
Onalaska ISD: 2-hour delay start Wednesday.
Santa Fe ISD: 2-hour delay start Wednesday.
Clear Creek ISD: 2-hour delay start Wednesday.
LaMarque ISD: 2-hour delay start Wednesday.

Baytown Christian Academy: Closed Wednesday.
Humble Christian School: 9 a.m. start Wednesday.
Pine Drive Christian School: 10:30 a.m. start Wednesday.
Primrose School of League City at South Shore: 8 a.m. start Wednesday.
St. Helen Catholic School in Pearland: 11 a.m. start Wednesday
True Cross Catholic School: 10 a.m. start Wednesday.
Girls and Boys Prep Academy: Opening at 10 a.m.
Baytown Memorial Baptist Pre-school: Opens at 9 a.m.
Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School: 2-hour delay start Wednesday.
Wharton County Junior College: Delayed open at 10 a.m.
