HOUSTON -

The start of the Texans season is around the corner and training camp starts on Friday, but on Wednesday the team took to the streets and traveled around the city to get everyone excited about the new season.

We followed the Texans all day as part of their annual caravan tour to meet the fans across the area. Close to 10 members of the team, including Danieal Manning, Duane Brown, Brooks Reed and Antonio Smith, rode on the team bus and made several stops, promoting each one through social media.

The tour began at Meyerland Plaza, then took a trip to a fast food store in Missouri City, hit a grocery store in Pearland, then make a final stop at the Texans YMCS complex  in southeast Houston.

It was a fun afternoon and a great way to connect with the fan base.

Players report Thursday and workouts open Friday. Keep it here for daily camp coverage on Local 2 Sports and Sports Sunday.
