HOUSTON -

The Harris County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man crashed and flipped his pickup truck between two houses.

It happened Sunday at around 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of Landing Pines Trail and Pine Forest Green Boulevard.

According to deputies, the pickup was speeding northbound on Pine Forest Green when the driver reach a dead end and lost control.

The driver then crashed through a public walkway, collided into two wooden fences, hit both houses and flipped over.

Investigators say the 20-year-old driver was killed in the truck, possibly from the wooden fence debris that punctured his body.

Deputies say speed was a factor. However, investigators are waiting for toxicology reports to determine whether alcohol was a factor.
