Body found in San Jacinto River identified as Humble man

HOUSTON -

The body that was found in the San Jacinto River has been identified as a Humble man.

Houston police said the body of Paul Harris, 34, was found on the evening of December 6 in the 21700 block of the Eastex Freeway.

HPD Kingwood officers responded to the report of a body in the river. The HPD Marine Unit and HFD paramedics were also called and recovered Harris’ body in the river.

Police say Harris was recently reported as missing to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

His cause of death is still under investigation.
