FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas -

The search is on for the four armed men police said forced their way inside a home.

Home invasions in this part of Fort Bend County are not altogether uncommon.

Why this area attracts that kind of activity isn't exactly clear, but in the Kingsbridge Place subdivision, located near Wynbourn Court and Bissonnet, just after noon Monday, a homeowner and his family got counted among the victims.

"They kind of grouped everyone up and gathered the money, demanded the money," authorities said.

It appears the four gunmen entered through the garage, which may have been open. Is that why they picked this house? We don't know.

But the men worked quickly and didn't get much. Most importantly, a Fort Bend County investigator told us the unidentified robber didn't hurt the family, including two terrified kids.
