Jan. 13, 2013: South Houston Police are looking for 3 or 4 men who assaulted and robbed 5 teens Saturday night. Camille Williams reports.

HOUSTON -

South Houston police say they are looking for three or four men who assaulted and robbed five teens Saturday night.

Police said five teens, two boys and three girls, pulled into the Super Texas convenient store off Highway 3 near Winkler.

The two boys went inside. When they walked out, police said a group of men wearing all black and ski masks robbed them.

Police said one of the men had a gun and assaulted one of the boys.

Investigators said the men then walked over to the car and harassed the girls inside and shots were fired.

A 17-year-old girl was shot three times in the upper right side of her body, police said. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but expected to recover.

Paul Gonzalez frequents the store. He said a lot has changed in the area over the years.

"This was a fairly safe town," said Gonzalez. "You could just enjoy yourself, have a good time. But really not lately. It's kind of scary here."

The suspects were last seen driving a 4-door car or SUV.

If you have any information, or know where these men might be, call South Houston Police Department at 713-944-1910.
