A female teacher's aide has been accused of having sex with a female student.
Katherine Alana Gricar, 24, has been charged with having an improper relationship with a student.
Spring Independent School District police said Gricar was a teacher's aide in the district.
Harris County sheriff's deputies were called out to an 18-year-old girl's home on March 18 because she and her mother were arguing. The teen, who is a home-bound student enrolled at Spring High School, wanted to move out and leave with Gricar.
The teen's mother told the deputy that she was concerned that her daughter was having an inappropriate relationship with Gricar.
Police said they talked to Gricar and she admitted that she wanted to have a relationship with the teenager.
Investigators said Gricar admitted to going to the teen's home in February, picking her up and taking the teen to her home to have sex.
Spring ISD officials said Gricar resigned from her position on March 19.
