Nov. 23, 2012: The Memorial City Mall may have closed its doors at 10 p.m. on Black Friday, but that doesn't mean the sales stop. Jennifer Bauer reports.

HOUSTON -

The Memorial City Mall may have closed its doors at 10 p.m. on Black Friday, but that doesn't mean the sales stop.

"I find a lot of deals and sales and I came late," said Maria Monge, a shopper who didn't start her Black Friday shopping extravaganza until 3 p.m.

Some stores inside the mall were advertising sales through Saturday and some said they would honor discounted prices on Sunday and Monday as well.

At the Gap, everything in the store is 60% off until Sunday. At Brookstone, free items are available with purchase through Monday.

Other stores around town are advertising 'Thanksgiving Weekend Sales.' Best Buy has iPads discounted $40 to $60 through Saturday and has other items on sale through the weekend, as well.

Toys R Us is encouraging shoppers to shop around the clock and take advantage of huge sales both online and in their stores.
