Nov. 16, 2012: Police search for two men who robbed a McDonald's restaurant on Main Street in Tomball. Jennifer Bauer reports.

TOMBALL, Texas -

Police are looking for two men accused of robbing a McDonald's restaurant on Main Street in Tomball.

It happened around 10 p.m. on October 30th.

Investigators released surveillance video of the crime Friday, hoping it will help catch the crooks.

Police said cameras recorded two masked men storming into the restaurant. They had their faces covered with bandanas, and one was carrying a handgun, authorities said.

"One of the things that does concern me is that the male that displayed the pistol kept his finger inside the trigger well at all times," said Captain Rickey Doerre with the Tomball police. "Anything that could have spooked him or scared him could have easily caused him to pull the trigger."

The video shows the robbers waving the gun at several employees and forcing one of them to open the safe, authorities said.

Police said the men stole about $3,000.

Investigators said they believe the same men may be responsible for a robbery at a McDonald's in Rosenberg and possibly one in Montgomery County, too.

"Maybe someone will see this and know the people who are actually responsible for not only our robbery but others as well," said Doerre.
