Jam Session, which is an interactive experience that lets fans live out their basketball dreams, opened up Thursday at the George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston.
Fans can be part of the Houston Rockets' team photo, visit a miniature Hall of Fame and even take photos of themselves making a slam dunk. There is a special kids' zone with hoops and activities that are just their size.
Current and former NBA players will sign autographs for free, and fans may spot them among the crowd, too.
There is also a giant NBA store where fans can buy All-Star memorabilia.
Jam Session is open from 4 to 10 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. Tickets on Thursday and Friday are $20 for adults, $12 for children ages 3 to 12, seniors and military members. Children age 2 and under are free. On the weekend, Jam Session is open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Ticket prices those days are $30 for adults, $20 for children ages 3 to 12, seniors and members of the military. Children age 2 and under are free.
Tickets may be purchased online, at the Toyota Center box office, at participating Randalls stores and by phone at 866-446-8849. Tickets have timed entries.
More than 100,000 fans are expected to play at Jam Session.
