A Valentine's Day delivery brought not one but two sets of identical twins to a Houston couple.
"The biggest blessing ever, tremendous blessing, a miracle and I'm real happy about it," said Manuel Montalvo.
Tressa Montalvo delivered the four boys at almost 32 weeks via Cesarean section at the Woman's Hospital of Texas.
Their big brother, 2-year-old Memphis, met his four new brothers for the first time Monday.
The first set of twins was born at 8:51 a.m., weighing 3 pounds 10 ounces and 3 pounds 15 ounces.
One minute later, the next set of twins was born, weighing 2 pounds 15 ounces and 3 pounds 6 ounces.
The Montalvos said they did not use any fertility treatments and were quite surprised when they found out during her pregnancy she would be having two sets of identical twins.
"I couldn't believe it. If I wasn't already lying down on that table, I would have been on the floor," said Tressa Montalvo.
"Basically, I just pumped my fist and I was like, 'Yes! A home run!" said Manuel Montalvo.
The babies are all progressing well, according to doctors.
Their parents named the boys in A, B, C and D order.
"We are going to go with the names Ace, Blaine, Cash and Dylan. With Ace and Cash, it fits in with a Vegas theme," said their 36-year-old mother.
Doctors said the odds of delivering two sets of naturally occurring identical twins is somewhere in the range of one in 70 million.
"We do feel like we hit the jackpot," said Tressa Montalvo, who was driving up until one week before the babies were delivered.
