Shooting Taco Bell parking lot
HOUSTON -

A man was shot in the parking lot of a northwest Harris County fast-food restaurant.

Around 11 p.m. Sunday, Harris County sheriff's deputies said shots were fired in the parking lot of a Taco Bell on West Road and Beltway 8. 

Investigators said several shots were fired and a 29-year-old man was wounded

A vehicle leaving the scene was spotted a few blocks away at the Trails at Corinthian Creek apartment complex at 8655 Jones Road.  Deputies said the vehicle's back windows were shot out.

The 29-year-old man was found at the complex and was taken to Houston Northwest Hospital in critical condition.

Deputies have not released any information about possible suspects.
