FRESNO, Texas -

Deputies are searching for a man who has been accused of shooting his brother.

Fort Bend County sheriff's deputies said the shooting happened at a mobile home on Avenue A and Jan Street in Fresno at about 8 p.m. Thursday.

Investigators said two adult brothers were arguing. The shouting match escalated, but was silenced when Daniel Rice, 25, shot his 44-year-old brother, detectives said.

The victim was taken by medical helicopter to Memorial Herman Hospital in critical condition. His name has not been released.

Rice was tracked to a home in the 4400 block of Clover Street in Houston, where he was arrested by Houston police. He's being held in the Fort Bend County Jail without bond, charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
