June 5, 2012: A married couple is arrested after officials say he had thousands of fake Apple cellphone covers. Nefertiti Jaquez reports.

HOUSTON -

A married couple was arrested after officials said they had thousands of fake Apple cellphone covers.

Hansjan Evertse, 42, and his wife, Hui Liange-Evertse, 41, of Sugar Land, were charged with trademark counterfeiting.

Court documents said the pair had 2,392 counterfeit cellphone covers that they intended to sell at their business, Lily Trading, on Regency Square Boulevard in southwest Houston. Their business specialized in the distribution of accessories and parts for cellphones.

Police said the fake iPhone covers were worth more than $100,000.

The suspects' bonds were set at $5,000 each.

Officials said the couple has two children.
