Former President George H.W. Bush is fighting a fever and has weathered what a family spokesman is calling "a few low energy days."
Doctors, who were hoping to release him by Christmas, changed their minds. The 88 year-old has suffered a series of setbacks, but doctors are said to be cautiously optimistic as the fever now appears to be under control.
