HOUSTON -

AT&T has offered a $50,000 reward for information about a series of robberies of its employees.

Company officials said six AT&T field technicians have been robbed at gunpoint while working on Houston streets in the past three months.

The robberies occurred at the following locations:

  • Nov. 7: 790 W. Little York
  • Nov. 6: 2003 Gardenia
  • Oct. 19: 1702 Wilburforce
  • Oct. 8: 900 Lucky
  • Sept. 26: 9903 NW Park
  • Aug. 3: Imperial Valley Drive near Bamell Road

The robberies have occurred within a 6-mile radius, company officials said.

A $10,000 reward was issued after the first four robberies happened. The other two robberies prompted AT&T to increase the reward.

The reward is offered specifically for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for the robberies.

AT&T officials said one to three people have been actively involved in the robberies.

The robbers have stolen the employees' wallets, cellphones, laptop computers and other belongings, company officials said.

Anyone with information is asked to call AT&T Asset Protection at 800-807-4205.
