Police are looking for the two men responsible for robbing a Randall’s grocery store in Bellaire.
It happened just after 4:15 p.m. on Aug. 19 at the store in the 5100 block of Bellaire Boulevard.
Bellaire police said two Hispanic men walked into the store. One of the suspects went behind the customer service counter and told a female clerk to open the cash register, while the second suspect served as the lookout. After taking money from the cashier’s drawer, the suspect forced the woman to the back room and made her open the safe.
Police said the suspect told the clerk that he had a gun.
Investigators said the suspect cleaned out the safe and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police describe the suspect’s vehicle as a newer model black sedan with dark windows.
