January 24, 2014: Say it ain't so! Find out which restaurant had chicken 'not safe for human consumption' because inspectors said the grilled chicken was off-temperature. Amy Davis reports.

HOUSTON -

They say "Third time's a charm;" but this is the third time RKG New Orleans Cajun Po-boy on Polk Street downtown has appeared on our Restaurant Report Card and there's still nothing charming about health inspector's findings.

"They found biscuit mix that was gnawed on by rats," said Consumer Expert Amy Davis to the manager back in May 2012.

Then in August 2013, Local 2 saw a roach on the wall near the food. This time, inspectors said employees needed to clean food splashes and roach droppings off the walls throughout the restaurant.

Inspectors noted dirty, filthy floors and cooking equipment at King Bo restaurant on Fifth Southwest Freeway and Bissonnet; but the owner who let our camera in her kitchen disagrees. She said the floors look dirty, but they are cleaned every evening when the restaurant is closed.

Say it ain't so! Chicken at Chik-fil-A "not safe for human consumption." That was the story at the I-10 and Silber location because inspectors said the grilled chicken was off-temperature.

It was the same story at the Subway in the 910 Travis where inspectors found the cold cuts, tuna, salami and chicken all too warm. They saw live roaches at Pizzaria Palenque in the old Plazamericas, formerly known as Sharpstown mall, and they said employees needed to take measures to minimize the presence of rodents.

This week our A+'s go to Taco Bell at 10 East Crosstimbers and Pappas BBQ on the North Freeway near Crosstimbers. Both restaurants had spotless inspections.
