Celebrate the Irish at Houston St. Patrick's Parade Saturday in downtown Houston. The 55th annual parade features 100-plus entries, beginning at the Clock Tower on Texas Avenue at noon. Grand marshal is Capt. William Dowling of the Houston Fire Department. The fun continues at Lucky’s Pub with awards and toasts.
Cheer on the Local 2 Team and all the racers in the Buffalo Bayou Regatta on Saturday in downtown at Sesquicentennial Park at Bagby and Preston. The race begins at 9 a.m. Watch teams cross the finish line and enjoy a free party between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. It's Texas' largest canoe and kayak race. Enjoy free live Zydeco music, rock climbing and the awards.
The Breakfast Yoga Club hits different locales each month for inspiration. This month features the Breakfast Yoga Club at Rienzi at 1402 Kirby Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. After some yoga, folks can stick around for an open house tour of Rienzi.
Two free concerts are Sunday. Cello Fury at Market Square Park in downtown is at 7 p.m. and Concert in the Park in The Woodlands at 5:30 p.m. featuring all things green with leprechaun relays, family craft and the music of Yelba.
