May 16, 2014: This week's Freebie Friday has a little something for everyone from lovers of the outdoors to opera aficionado. Amy Davis reports.

HOUSTON -

From opera to the great outdoors we've got a wide range of options to fill your calendar this weekend.

If you've never been to the Houston Greek Fest you can check it out for free this weekend. Just print out this flyer for free admission.  The festival is all day Friday through Sunday at 1100 Eldridge Parkway.

Take the kids to the Books Alive Children's Book Celebration Saturday at the Downtown Houston Library from 12:15 to 4:30 p.m. The hands-on activities and crafts, band and other entertainment are all free.

Then Saturday night, leave the kids at home for "Flea by Night" at Discovery Green. Vendors selling art, clothing, antiques and more will set up in the park from 6 until 10 p.m.

Want to head into the great outdoors but not sure if you're ready for the wilderness? Head to a Bass Pro Shop first. On Saturday and Sunday, the Katy and Pear land locations are offering free workshops  that teach camping and survival basics and cooking demos. Check out the above link for the schedule of classes.

You can take in a performance by the Houston Grand Opera at the Miller Outdoor Theater Saturday at 8 p.m. Pick up free tickets for reserved, covered seats the day of the performance from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Now for your free stuff. Click here to get free Cottonelle Cleansing Cloths by mail and a coupon for a bag of free Twistos Baked Snack Bites from Kroger.

Our friends at Houston on the Cheap have details on even more free and inexpensive things to do around town.
